Their relationship was taken to another level almost instantly as the pair decided to tie the knot just three days after getting engaged.
Savanna, 19, revealed how they both come from traditional backgrounds and that marriage was spoken about two weeks into dating.

was always something that we talked about.”
Savanna, who lives in Tallahassee, Florida, admitted that some see her marriage as ‘controversial’ after getting married at 18 – almost immediately after leaving high school.
While her husband is out working to provide for Savanna, she is occupied ensuring that their house is clean, and meals are ready for when he arrives home.
However, becoming a trad wife wasn’t always the dream for Savanna who revealed that when she was 16, just three years ago, she had aspirations to pursue a career in law.

But after entering a healthy relationship, she quickly realised that her life now is what she truly wants, describing becoming a wife as her ‘greatest accomplishment’.
She is adamant that staying at home and maintaining the house is something she really enjoys – much more than waking up every day to go to work.

Talking about her relationship, Savanna says: “My husband does not play video games, or watch sports all the time.
“Every minute of that man’s time is dedicated to providing for our family.
“It’s controversial because I got married at 18 and that’s not very normal in today’s society.
“Fresh out of high school I got married. I don’t have a degree, my husband doesn’t have a degree, he’s just worked since he was 16.
“And with me, I got married so there was no reason for me to necessarily work.
“Just through being in a really healthy relationship, with a very masculine man, that masculine side of me turned off.
What is a trad wife?
A trad wife (short for traditional wife) is a woman who chooses to take on an ultra traditional role inmarriage, meaning she makes dinner and looks pretty whilst her husband goes to work.
The trend takes inspiration from the idea of a 1950s housewife.
Many 'trad wives' choose to dressin the styleof clothing popular in this period (think floral dresses and frumpy cardigans).
Additionally, the values considered important to trad wives are similar to strict Christian values.
Trad wives believed they were not forced into this way of life, and that it was their purpose to be homemakers.
The trend, which has garnered attention on social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, glamorises a time gone by with little acknowledgement of the economic challenges facing families and mothers today.
“It was very easy to just feel like that it’s okay to not want to do those things and just want to be a wife and a mom one day.”
Savanna says that those closest to her have struggled to understand her relationship.
“We’ve had friends who have been like ‘do you not want something of your own?’, and they’ll say it in a degrading way,” she adds.
